  • 2 sticks butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour
  • 5 eggs
  • 6 oz. can milk
  • 2 oz. water
  • 2 Tbsp. flavoring

Directions

    Blend butter, Crisco and sugar until creamy.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time.

    Add flour and milk alternately ending with flour. Fold in flavoring.

    Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325°.

    Start in cold oven.

    Do not open door.
