- 2 sticks butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 5 eggs
- 6 oz. can milk
- 2 oz. water
- 2 Tbsp. flavoring
Directions

1Blend butter, Crisco and sugar until creamy.

2Beat in eggs, one at a time.

3Add flour and milk alternately ending with flour. Fold in flavoring.

4Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour and 45 minutes at 325°.

5Start in cold oven.

6Do not open door.
