- 2 ham hocks
- 2 to 3 bunches collard greens
- 3/4 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- Accent and salt to taste (to season)
Directions

1Steam ham hocks in a small amount of water for about 1 hour. Cut and wash collard greens very well.

2Add the greens, chopped green pepper, scallions, sugar and seasoning to the pot.

3Simmer for approximately 1 hour or until tender.
