  • 1 1/2 lb. collards, rinsed well and chopped
  • 4 c. water
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook until tender and most of water has cooked away.
