Ingredients

  • 4 to 8 squash, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 pkg. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 to 2 c. crumbled crackers
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • dashes of salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 to 3 c. water

Directions

    Boil squash on medium heat in 2 to 3 cups of water; drain after squash is cooked to tender.

    Blend in all ingredients except 1 package of shredded Cheddar cheese for topping.

    Be sure all is well blended before topping with Cheddar cheese.

    Place in a Pam-sprayed pan.

    Bake on 350° to 375° for 30 to 40 minutes or until top is brown to your likeness.
