  • 1 1/8 lb. butter
  • 1/4 stick margarine
  • 8 c. flour (plain)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions

    Mix flour and salt together and then mix with butter and margarine until evenly distributed.

    Add enough ice water to make a ball.

    Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.

    Prick top with fork.

    Bake at 250° until very lightly browned.
