Ingredients

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • dry onion mix or chopped fresh onion
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 3/4 to 1 c. crushed corn flakes

Directions

    Cook potatoes until done; drain and add soup.

    Blend with mixer.

    Add cheese and onion and blend.

    Melt margarine in microwave oven.

    Pour 1/2 melted margarine in large glass baking dish.

    Pour potato mixture over margarine.

    Sprinkle potatoes with crushed corn flakes.

    Pour remaining margarine over top of corn flakes.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until mixture bubbles.
