- 4 to 6 medium potatoes
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 lb. cheese, grated
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Peel potatoes and slice crosswise into 1-inch thick slices. Boil until barely tender in a small amount of water.

2When cooked, remove potatoes to a baking dish.

3Measure 1 cup of liquid from the potatoes and return to the pot.

4Add 2 cans soup and 1/2 the cheese.

5Stir while heating slowly until cheese begins to melt. Pour over potatoes in baking dish.

6Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

7Heat in 325° oven until sauce bubbles and cheese is melted.
