Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup crushed potato chips
  • 1/4 cup crumbled sugar cookies
  • 1/2 cup assorted chocolate chips (I had an open bag of semi-sweet and an open bag of white chocolate)
  • Handful of Craisins
  • 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup chopped Samoa cookies
  • Coarse Salt

Directions

    In a mixer, whip together butter and shortening.

    Mix in sugars and baking soda until combined.

    Mix in eggs and vanilla until combined.

    Stir in flour slowly, 1/2 cup at a time.

    Mix in peanut butter until completely combined.

    In a separate bowl, mix together everything else.

    Stir mixture into the dough.

    Chill dough for at least 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    Roll medium sized dough balls and place them about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet (or parchment paper).

    Sprinkle coarse salt on top of each dough ball.

    Bake for about 9 minutes.

    Let them cool for at least 2 minutes before serving.
