Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks oleo
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 4 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. hot tap water
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten

Directions

    Mix yeast and hot water.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Beat egg and add to yeast mixture.

    Add soft oleo, then add sugar and flour. Seal in container.

    Let sit in refrigerator about 2 hours.

    Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.

    Spoon 1 tablespoon for each roll. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.

    Keeps up to 1 week in refrigerator.

    Makes about 18 rolls.
