Congealed Cherry Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) can pitted dark sweet cherries, undrained
  • 1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, undrained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Drain all fruit together.

    Save 1 1/2 cups juice and set aside.

    Bring the juice to boil and dissolve gelatin in it.

    Add cold water and chill.

    Fold in fruit and pecans.

    Pour into 6-cup mold or 11 x 13-inch Pyrex dish.

    Serves 10 to 12.
