- 1/2 c. + 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. flour, sifted
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- dash of salt
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Melt margarine in saucepan over medium heat.

2Remove from heat and stir in sugar.

3Stir in eggs, one at a time.

4Stir in sifted flour and dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips and nuts.

5Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet with sides.

6Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

7When cool, cut into bars.
