- 2 3/4 c. sifted flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. oleo
- 2 1/4 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 small pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Sift the flour, baking powder and salt.

2Set aside.

3Beat softened oleo and sugar until fluffy.

4Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well.

5Add dry ingredients; mix.

6Add nuts and chocolate bits.

7Bake in a jelly roll pan (greased) at 350° for 20 minutes. Take out when bars look undercooked.

8Cut into squares when almost cool.
