  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 3/4 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Melt shortening.

    Add 1 pound brown sugar and 3 eggs and mix well.

    Combine and add flour, salt and baking powder.

    Add chocolate chips.

    Spread into 2 greased, floured sheet cake pans and bake at 350° for 15 minutes.
