  • 1 lb. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. pecans (optional)
  • 3 c. flour

Directions

    Cream sugar and margarine. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well. Gradually add flour, salt and vanilla. Add baking powder. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 pan for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown at 350°.
