- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
- 3 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. plain flour
- 1 pkg. Nestle chocolate chips
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. pecans or walnuts
Directions

1Pour brown sugar in bowl.

2Pour melted butter over and mix. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

3Add nuts and chocolate chips to flour to coat, then add to sugar/egg mixture.

4Mix well.

5Pour into a greased 9 x 12-inch pan and bake at 350° about 35 to 40 minutes.

6These will collapse in middle of pan, so don't think you have done something wrong.
