  • Ice
  • 1 ounce Aperol (bitter orange Italian aperitif)
  • 3/4 ounce gin, preferably Tanqueray
  • 1/4 ounce creme de mure (blackberry liqueur)
  • 3/4 ounce Ruby Red grapefruit juice
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • 1 orange twist studded with 3 cloves, for garnish

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add the Aperol, gin, creme de mure, grapefruit juice, orange bitters and Angostura bitters and shake well.

    Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with the clove-studded orange twist.
