- 1 c. onion, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 8 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
- 2 c. shredded Swiss cheese (8 oz.)
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. mustard (golden)
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. dill weed
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 6 slices caraway rye bread, cut in 4 triangles
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cook onion in butter until tender.

3Spread mixture in baking dish (11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch).

4Top with egg slices; sprinkle with cheese.

5Beat remaining ingredients in bowl. Pour mixture over cheese.

6Overlap bread slices on top. Bake 30 to 35 minutes.

7Serves 6.

8Can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight except for addition of bread.

9Add bread and bake 45 minutes.
