  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten

    Bring to a boil the first 4 ingredients.

    Pour over flour mixture of flour, sugar and soda.

    Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs.

    Bake in a greased and floured sheet pan at 250° for 20 to 30 minutes.
