  • dash of salt
  • 3/4 c. crushed chocolate wafers
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Beat egg whites and salt until they form soft peaks.

    Add sugar; beat until stiff.

    Fold in nuts, vanilla and cookies. Spread in buttered pie pan and bake for 35 minutes in a 325° oven. Chill.

    Top with Cool Whip.
