Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions

  1. 1
    Bring to a boil the margarine, shortening, water and cocoa. Add the flour, sugar, salt and soda.

    Mix together the eggs, vanilla and buttermilk and add to other mixture.

    Pour into cookie sheet.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 350°.

    Frost when removed immediately from oven.
