One Bar Lye Soap

Directions

   Mix the water and lye; let cool.

   Add the ammonia and Borax or Borateem.

   Pour into a 1-cup strainer.

   Cool grease to room temperature.

   Stir until creamy and thick.

   Pour into small container to set (a matchbox or a small plastic margarine container).

   Vinegar will neutralize lye.
