  • 1 c. hot water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt together butter, water and cocoa.

    Mix flour, soda, sugar, cinnamon and salt together.

    Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla together.

    Mix first and second mixtures together, then add third mixture.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 350° in ungreased pan.
