  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 sticks margarine

Directions

    Combine sugar, flour, soda and salt in large bowl.

    Mix margarine, cocoa and water together and bring to a boil.

    Pour over dry mixture and mix well.
  4. 4
    Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. 5
    Pour into greased and floured 12 x 15 x 2-inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350°.
