  • 1/2 c. soft butter
  • 3/4 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • food color
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • sprinkles/coconut
  • maraschino cherries
  • Hershey Kisses

Directions

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Mix butter, sugar, vanilla and food color. Work flour and salt into mixture (if dough is dry mix in 1 tablespoon milk).

    Mold dough around cherry or Kiss.

    Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.

    Bake 12 to 15 minutes until set but not brown.

    Cool.

    Dip into icing and decorate with sprinkles or coconut.
