  • 8 chicken thighs or 4 whole chicken breasts, halved
  • 1/2 c. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • 1 (10 oz.) can mushrooms or 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (10 oz.) can beef broth or consomme
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbsp. butter
  • flour

    Dredge chicken pieces in

    flour; saute until brown in melted butter.
