- 4 ears of corn (or 10 oz. frozen)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. shredded Colby cheese
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- toasted bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook about 1 quart cut up zucchini or yellow squash until tender.

2Drain and chop coarsely.

3In a small skillet, cook a large chopped onion in butter until soft.

4Add 1/2 cup cream and 5 or 6 saltines or some bread crumbs.

5Combine squash and onion mixture; salt and pepper to taste.

6Pour into greased casserole; cover with bread crumbs.

7Bake at 350° until crumbs are brown.
