  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk

    Beat egg and sugar together.

    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and corn meal.

    Add to milk mixture.

    Stir to mix, then add oil and stir well.

    Pour in greased and floured pan and bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
