Ingredients

  • 4 c. water
  • 2 c. corn meal
  • salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 stick butter

Directions

    Cook water and corn meal until thick, then add remaining ingredients.

    Bake at 450° for 15 minutes, then 350° for 1 hour. Grease pan well.

    This will keep in the refrigerator if wrapped in foil or in Tupperware bowl.
