- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal (I use Hodgson Mill stone ground)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2Add eggs, milk and oil.

3Beat just until moistened.

4Spoon into a greased 8-inch square baking pan or an 8-inch round iron skillet.

5Bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until bread tests done.
