- 1/4 c. sugar (optional)
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Combine in medium size bowl the first 5 ingredients.

2Beat in rest of ingredients until smooth.

3Pour into a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.

4Bake in 425° oven for 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched.

5Cool in pan on wire rack only!
