  • 1 c. self-rising meal
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 4 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Mix meal and flour in a bowl.

    Add egg and milk; mix this all together and add oil.

    Pour in baking dish or pan and bake 20 to 30 minutes in a preheated 450° oven.

    Bake in 10-inch skillet for thin corn bread or smaller skillet for thicker bread.
