  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix cornmeal, flour and sugar together. Make a well in center, add milk, egg and oil. Stir only long enough to mix. Fill a greased baking dish only half full. Bake at 425° (hot oven) about 25 minutes until lightly browned.
