- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. oil or shortening
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Heat cast-iron skillet and sprinkle with about one teaspoon corn meal.

3Mix together the corn meal, egg, milk and oil.

4Stir until well blended.

5Pour into skillet and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
