Corn Bread Dressing

Ingredients
- 1 pan corn bread
- 6 slices white bread, broken up
- 1 (1/4 lb.) section crumbled saltine crackers
- 2 onions, chopped
- 5 to 6 ribs celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- salt and pepper to taste
- chestnuts (if desired)
- 2 or more cans Swanson chicken broth or fresh
Directions

1Crumble corn bread and white bread and mix with crackers. Saute vegetables in butter.

2Add to bread mixture and mix well. Add enough broth to moisten well.

3Add eggs, salt and pepper along with chestnuts.

4Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.

5Bake at 350° to 375° for about 1 hour or until firm.

6Top with giblet gravy.
