  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. white or whole wheat flour
  • 1 c. corn meal
  • 1 1/4 c. milk

    Blend oil and honey together.

    Add both flours, then milk; mix until nearly smooth.

    Pour into well oiled cast-iron skillet.
