Ingredients

  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 c. whole white corn, drained (Pride of Illinois, Shoe Peg)
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. instant rice
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 2 eggs, beaten well
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • dash of Tabasco (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Mix up the night before needed and put in refrigerator.

    Take out and put in cold oven.

    Turn oven to 325° and bake for 15 minutes.

    Serves 10 to 12.
