- 2 cans corn (creamed and Niblets)
- 1 lb. bacon
- 1 bunch green onions
- 3 small potatoes
- 1 handful barley
- milk (until desired consistency) or half and half
- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. crushed garlic
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder (not salt)
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Directions

1Brown bacon.

2Cook potatoes and barley separately.

3Add everything else and bring to a boil.

4Only need about 30 minutes after everything is added to cook.

5If you use milk, add cornstarch to thicken.

6If you use half and half, you probably won't need it thickened.

7Serves 4 to 5.
