- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 onion
- 2 c. frozen corn
- milk or cream
- 2 c. potatoes
- 2 c. water
- 2 carrots
- 2 tsp. snipped parsley
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
Directions

1Place corn in 2 cup measuring cup; add milk or cream to 2 cup mark.

2Chop potatoes, carrots and onion.

3Saute margarine and onion in large kettle.

4Add remaining ingredients and cook until potatoes are tender.

5If you wish to thicken the chowder, mix together 1 tablespoon flour and 1/2 cup water.

6Add to chowder and cook until thickened.
