- 6 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 to 2 c. potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 (1 lb.) can corn
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 1/2 to 2 c. milk
- pepper to taste
Directions

1In large saucepan, fry bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon and reserve grease.

3Drain corn, reserving liquid.

4Add reserved liquid to bacon drippings along with potatoes and onion.

5Cover and simmer until tender.

6Add corn, soup, milk, salt and pepper; heat thoroughly.

7Serve.

8Crumble bacon over chowder in bowls.
