  • 3 slices salt pork
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 2 c. water
  • 6 soda crackers
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. cooked corn (fresh or canned)
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Directions

    Cut salt pork into cubes and brown in large saucepan.

    Add onion.

    Cook until tender and lightly browned.

    Add potatoes and water.

    Cook until potatoes are tender.

    Soak crackers in milk. Add corn, salt, pepper and soaked crackers to cooked potato mixture.

    Heat to boiling.
