- 14 large red corn cobs
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. Sure-Jell
Directions

1Run water over cobs to take off last of the chaff.

2In a large pan (roaster oven), cover the cobs with water and boil 30 minutes. Use a lot of water, the cobs absorb a lot.

3Strain.

4Stir 3 cups of the red corn liquor into a pan and add Sure-Jell.

5Let this come to a boil, then add sugar.

6When this comes to a hard boil, let it boil a minute or until it starts to jell.

7Test by dipping fork.

8The liquid collects a minute on the groves.
