- 4 c. chopped onions
- 1 lb. butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1 lb. frozen corn
- 2 qt. whipping cream
- 2 pt. half and half
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 lb. claw crabmeat
Directions

1Saute onions in butter.

2Add flour, mixing well.

3Slowly add whipping cream, half and half, broth and corn.

4Simmer for 20 minutes.

5Add crabmeat and cook on low heat for 20 minutes more. Season to taste.

6Serves 10 to 12.

7Very rich and thick.

8May add water.

9Can substitute low-fat milk for whipping cream and half and half to cut down on richness and calories.
