  • 1 (No. 2) can cream-style corn (about 2 1/4 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. cornflake crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients.

    Stir in eggs.

    Scald milk and 2 tablespoons butter; add to corn mixture.

    Pour into a greased casserole and bake at 300° for 1 hour.

    Mix crumbs in 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle on top.

    Bake until browned.
