  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. melted shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 lb. hot dogs
  • grease for frying

    Sift dry ingredients.

    Blend shortening with eggs, then add milk.

    Add to dry ingredients.

    Now you're ready to dip hot dogs in batter.

    Have your pan ready with grease to float hot dog (350°).
