  • 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1 lb. wieners
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • oil

Directions

    You may use either fresh or stale bread.

    Cut bread into small cubes, put them in a pan and sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder or leave them plain.

    Put them in the oven at 250° for approximately 20 minutes. Turn the oven off and leave the croutons in the oven for another hour or so.
