- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/4 c. shredded coconut (optional)
- 2 1/2 c. slightly crushed corn flakes
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Blend the butter and sugars thoroughly. Add egg and beat well.

3Add the nuts, coconut (if desired) and corn flakes; mix well.

4Shape cookies using a tablespoon and pressing filled spoon against side of bowl.

5Then drop lightly on a greased cookie sheet.

6Bake 10 minutes.

7Makes 2 dozen cookies, 49 calories each.
