  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. melted fat or cooking oil
  • 1 c. fresh corn or drained can corn

    Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

    Beat in the oil and corn.

    Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat (375°) until lightly browned.
