- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cake flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) can while kernel corn, drained
- vegetable oil
- honey
Directions

1Beat egg until light; add milk and melted butter.

2Sift the flours, baking powder, salt and sugar together.

3Add to egg mixture.

4Add the drained corn; mix well.

5Refrigerate batter for at least 2 hours.

6Drop by tablespoon into deep hot fat (375°) and fry 3 to 5 minutes.

7Fry only 4 or 5 fritters at a time.

8Drain on paper towels.

9Serve with warm honey.
