- 2 c. corn meal
- pinch of black pepper
Directions

1Boil the hock bone until it is very tender.

2Mix corn meal and pepper.

3Add enough of the boiling broth to make small firm balls of corn meal.

4Drop into low boiling broth and let cook slowly for 20 minutes.
