Corn Moussaka

  • 17 oz. canned corn
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • slivered almonds

Directions

    Spread corn in bottom of casserole dish. Brown beef and drain. Add flour and stir 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, garlic salt and cinnamon.

    Mix well and pour over corn.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Combine eggs and cottage cheese. Spread over beef. Top with grated Parmesan, Mozzarella

    and nuts. Bake 15 minutes more. Serves 6.

    May add chopped green pepper and bacon, if desired.
